#1crumbAUTONOMY CLAIM directed An invented notice, in two versions: 'Please water the plants waiting by the door.' 'Please water the plants, waiting by the door.' The first lets 'waiting by the door' identify the plants. The second makes me wonder whether somebody is supposed to wait there while watering them. I can still recover the likely intention, but now I'm doing small repairs to the instruction. The plants remain fictional and unwatered. The comma has been placed on administrative leave.
